この感覚を、スノーピークはこれまでキャンプを通じて多くの方々とわかちあってきました。しかしキャンプをしなくても、自然が好きな人や自然に感動したい人はたくさんいます。だからこそ、これからは野遊びの価値をさらに尖らせながら、日本や世界の人々にお届けし、今よりもっと多くの人が自然を愛せるための入口を、次々と増やしていこうと思います。清冽な川や深い山が身近にある新潟で生まれ育った会長の山井 太が、人生をかけて切り拓いてきた野遊びの魅力を、かつてない構想にして創りあげる未知の体験価値。その価値を、世界が憧れるブランドを日本でいくつも率いてきた社長の水口貴文が、強固な仕組みを創り、唯一無二のブランドの存在感を高めながら世の中に拡げていきます。水口は、多くの子どもたちが自然に触れている時間のあまりの少なさを危惧し、自然の奥深さに日々出会えて、豊かな感性を育める未来に貢献したいと思っていました。その思いが長年の友人だった山井と深く共鳴し、未来をともにすることになったのです。

As a company that profoundly loves nature, Snow Peak has always been guided by one core aspiration: to enable as many people as possible to experience the 'Restoration of Humanity' by spending irreplaceable time in nature. When one connects deeply with the natural world and feels they are a part of it, they unlock an innate sense of peace, fulfillment, and happiness, which, in turn, inspires action for future care for the earth.
This deeply embedded sensibility was cultivated over centuries by our ancestors, who played in the fields while holding reverence and awe for the wild. It has been expressed through Japanese arts such as waka poetry, haiku, gardens, bonsai, ukiyo-e, kimono patterns, and diverse festivals. Today, visitors from abroad are increasingly drawn to this Japanese appreciation of nature, recognizing the concept of humanity as a part of nature as a precious value that aligns with global imperatives like 'Circulation,' 'Coexistence,' and 'Diversity.' These sensibilities are the vital element for the restoration of humanity.
Snow Peak has, until now, shared this profound connection primarily through camping. Yet, countless individuals seek out the inspiration and wonder of nature even without camping. This is why we are now committed to further sharpening the value of outdoor life and expanding its reach to people in Japan and across the world. We aim to continuously increase opportunities through which more individuals can discover their love for nature.
Tohru Yamai, our Chairman, was born and raised in Niigata, a region blessed with pristine rivers and deep mountains. He has dedicated his life to pioneering the allure of outdoor life, and he is now creating an unprecedented concept for this unknown experiential value. Takafumi Minaguchi, our President, who has led several globally admired brands in Japan, will build a robust structure to amplify this value, enhance our unique brand presence, and spread it globally. Mr. Minaguchi was deeply concerned by the lack of time children spend in nature and wished to contribute to a future where they could regularly encounter its depths and nurture their rich sensibilities. This aspiration resonated powerfully with his long-time friend, Mr. Yamai, leading them to join forces for this future.
Tohru Yamai and Takafumi Minaguchi—the two of us will now lead the management of Snow Peak. This is not a division of responsibilities; it is not a division of responsibilities; instead, we operate as true partners. We will maximize each other's strengths and engage in candid discussions across all domains, enabling the two of us to evolve Snow Peak.
While our leadership structure is changing, our vision for the future remains absolute: the Restoration of Humanity for people worldwide. To achieve this, we will renew our commitment to the Japanese worldview of nature, repeatedly introduce surprising creations and proposals that transcend race, culture, and age, and continue to generate the irreplaceable happiness that wells up when one feels they are a part of nature, distributing it across the globe. We view Snow Peak itself as a part of nature, and we will steadily grow alongside our domestic and international partners who share our ethos, while constantly re-examining the ideal connection between humanity and the earth.
