noasobi esseyscene 01 “Camping Life”

When the buds on the trees begin to open, my camping season also opens.

I hang my sleeping bag on the veranda to air out, and ventilate my inner tent.
The musty odor serves as a trigger to give rise to all sorts of thoughts racing through my head.

Recently, I usually end up spending the first night at a campsite in the mountain near a village.
The fallen pine needles cover the ground with a thick carpet, and the sun shines with a golden light.
The colors are beautiful.
I spread out my tent, slide it onto the frame, and drive in the pegs.
The texture of the fallen pine needles is so pleasant that I do not put down a mat,
and I have yearly enjoyment of resting with only my sleeping bag coverd me.

The stars shine dimly in the sky among the trees.
I light my lantern, and open a can of beer.

Thus begins another year for me.
